I had a great experience interning at Strategic Health Advisers, LLC this past spring. From the start, the team was welcoming and supportive, and the partners really made sure my time there was meaningful. I was able to work on several projects that directly related to my field of study and the kind of work I hope to do in the future, all while having the flexibility to keep up with my academic studies. I had the opportunity to collaborate with different subcontractors and see how cross-disciplinary teams come together on larger projects. On top of that, I had the chance to observe what consulting looks like in practice, which gave me a better understanding of how the public health field operates. Overall, the internship gave me valuable experience and a clearer sense of the path I want to take.
