Grant Writing & Management
SHA has administered/managed over $15 million of State and Federal grant funds and assisted organizations with the responsible stewardship of funding. We work with organization management to determine specific deliverables related to the funding as necessary to complete an application; work with funders as necessary to secure funding (i.e. attend bidders conferences/trainings); complete the application/grant amendment as necessary to secure funding; complete any necessary grant/budget amendments following awarding of funds; work with the organization’s Treasurer or CFO (and/or her designee) as necessary to meet grant financial deliverables and reporting requirements; submit the quarterly progress and expenditure reports and make any required amendments related to their submission; seek any necessary deadline extensions from Grantor; act as a liaison between the funder and your organization as it relates to the additional grant funds; and provide organizational leadership updates on progress. As New Jersey grant management leaders, SHA is adept in both State and Federal platforms (i.e., SAGE, SAMHSA, etc.)
